Rowena Marie Reine's Obituary
Rowena Marie Reine passed away on Friday, January 17, 2014 at the age of 88.
Beloved daughter of the late Henrietta Songy Reine and George E. Reine. Loving sister of Margaret LeCarpentier, Stephen Reine, Mearl Schott, Luke Reine and the late George Reine, Jr., Isabelle Boudreaux and Alfred Reine. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. She spent her life caring for others as a nurse, a loving daughter and sister and a very special aunt.
Ms Reine was a registered nurse and worked at Hotel Dieu and St. Tammany Parish Hospital. She was a parishioner and a Eucharistic Minister at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Covington.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass on Thursday, January 23, 2014 at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 4465 Hwy 190 East Service Rd., Covington, LA 70433 at 12:00 noon with visitation at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Ave., Covington, LA 70433 on Wednesday evening from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and AT CHURCH ON THURSDAY MORNING from 10:00 AM until Mass time.
Interment will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions in memory of Ms Reine to be made to Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church or Parkinson’s Disease research.
