Rowena George Jenkins' Obituary
Rowena George Jenkins of Covington, Louisiana passed away on Wednesday, April 23, 2020. She was born on September 15, 1941 in Enon, Louisiana, to John and Effie Prevost George.
Rowena is survived by her beloved children Charles E. Jenkins and John D. Jenkins (Theresa) and her adoring five grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother Howard George and her loving sister Ruth Strahan.
Rowena is preceded in death by loving her husband Reuble E. Jenkins, their daughter Tammy Motichek. She is also preceded in death by her parents John and Effie George, brothers, Alanzo George, James George; and her sister Sarah Mizell.
Rowena was a native of Enon, and a resident of Covington for 63 years. Rowena did enjoy gardening for Mr. Sharp for over 10 years. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family.
Due to our countries unfortunate state of affairs with the COVID 19, services will be held privately at E.J Fielding Funeral Home for the immediate family.
