Rosemary Rosch Manning's Obituary
Rosemary Rosch Manning age 82, of Robert, Louisiana passed away Wednesday morning, March 31, 2021 at Forest Manor Nursing Home in Covington, Louisiana. She was born on August 13, 1938 in New Orleans, Louisiana to Emile and Odette Clouatre Rosch.
She is survived by her loving daughter Debra “Debbie” Manning Collins (Donald) and her granddaughter Caitlin Collins.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 57 years Gerald “Jerry” Manning, her parents Emile and Odette Rosch and her sister, Joycelyn Rosch Robertson.
Rosemary was a native of New Orleans, and a devoted Catholic. She adored being a stay at home mom. Rosemary could raise anyone’s spirits with her positive outlook on everything, everyday. She especially enjoyed going to casinos or playing bingo with her friends at Forest Manor. She would report her $2 winnings as if she won a million! Her true passion was spending time with her family and friends. She will always be remembered as the surrogate grandmother (Maw) for everyone’s children. She will be remembered and missed by all who knew her.
The family sends a special thank you to the staff of Forest Manor Nursing Home for all their help, support and kindness during Rosemary’s time as a resident.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the graveside services at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens, 2260 W 21st Ave, Covington, LA 70433 on Saturday, April 3, 2021 at 1:00 PM with visitation beginning at 12:30 PM.
With COVID-19, restrictions social distancing and face mask are required to attend services.
