Dear Sam & Michelle,
Aunt Rose e-mailed me when she was diagnosed. She told me not to worry or feel badly for her. Aunt Rose said she'd had a good life, wonderful people who had loved her, and she wasn't afraid of passing on.
I told her what my mom always says to me when I leave her. "Be careful, have a great day, & remember I love you."
My heart goes out to you, because my mom is all I've ever had, & I can't imagine life w/o her. May God be with you & comfort you.
Please remember that you do have family in MI who care about you.
Love, Cuz Pam
Grandma Rose Loved Big! She taught me alot about living and loving. I loved her deeply and I will miss her, probably for the rest of my life! Much love and blessings to all her friends and family. Becky
I met Rose through the Queen Bee quilting group - we attended one retreat together and several meetings - I was always amazed at her mental awareness, talent she shared, and her agility - she was a true lady and an inspiration - at retreat she was always up sewing when I went to bed - what a delight she was to have known -
Rose came into my life right after I had lost my good friend, my mother-n-law who was the same age. I immediately loved Rose. She was just one of those rare, special people who touch your heart. She made me laugh. She was witty, talented, spunky and courageous.
May God bless you all and see you through this difficult time.
Even though we lived many miles apart for many years, she was always in my thoughts. I only got to visit her two times in Florida, it was a real nice time and I enjoyed her hospitality. One time my Son Drew and I went to see her when he was only 12 years old and we enjoyed it. My Son and his wife later moved to Miami Beach for awhile (before blessing me with grandchildren (2) We visited Rose and her 2nd. husband there once again and had a nice visit and picture taking time. With love.
Sorry we are not able to be there with you. We were blessed to be loved by Rose. She was a great deal of support to us. It was great to have a extra Grandma to love.
May God bless you and give you comfort and peace as only he can.
Bless all of you.
I have enjoyed knowing Rose from our sewing group at Annie's. She seems to have lived a wonderful and full life. I have enjoyed her stories and her spunky nature. I am glad she did not suffer long and is now free from pain.
We were so fortunate to have Rose for an extra Mother. We are sure that Heaven is shining brighter because she is there! We're very thankful for the caregivers she had during her final days.
