Rosalie "Rose" Heine's Obituary
Rosalie “Rose” Sharp Heine died on Wednesday September 8, 2021 at the age of 79. She was born August 22, 1942 in Bush, LA to the late Charles Ira Sharp and Alma Taylor Sharp.
Rose is survived by her beloved son, George Walter Heine, Jr. and his wife, Patty of Hammond, LA. She is also survived by her siblings, Nola Galloway, Daniel Sharp, Orece Sharp, Rufus Sharp, Alma Kennedy and Jimmie Johnson. Rose was also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Rose is predeceased in death by her parents and siblings, Horatio, Douglas, Clifton, Elliott, Metta Doris S. Johnson, Helen Eletha, Viola, and Ottis.
Rose worked many years for Delchamps, K & B, Albertsons and Rouses. She also adored her cat, Mia and others.
The Heine Family would like to express their appreciation to the staff of Forest Manor Covington, LA and Lakeside Hospice of Metairie, LA for the care great received for their Mom. The family would also like to thank Evelyn Dixon for the care she provided to her aunt.
Due to COVID-19, social distancing is encouraged and masks are required to attend services.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Services at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, Covington, LA 70433 on Monday, September 13, 2021 at 11:00 AM with visitation beginning at 9:00 AM until service time. Interment will follow in the Sharp Cemetery on House Creek Road in Bush, LA.
Because of her love for animals, in lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Dante Hope, c/o Margaret Joiner, 331 N. 7th Street Pontchatoula, LA 70454.
