Didn't know her personally but the family she left behind is awesome. They are great to be around & I know she will be watching over them with the same spirit she had here on this earth.
Many children are adopted at a very young age and don't remember that day. I was much older when Mom adopted me. It was in the most unlikely place - the parking lot of ShopRite. I'm not very tall but was taller than mom. She reached up, grabbed both my cheeks squeezed, said, "you're so cute", have me a gentle Pat on the left cheek, and said "You're my son." .... Within that brief conversation I was told that I would be expected at dinner in Sunday. From that day, my life was to change. I had someone who truly believed in me. I really didn't know how to handle that because I never had anyone in my life, other than my aunt, who ever did that.
I love her - truly! We talked, laughed, cried....a part of me has left this world. I will talk with her often each day until I see her again.
