Ronald Anthony Mangipano's Obituary
Ronald Mangipano, age 75, of Covington, passed away on Friday, February 16, 2024, at his home after a long, hard fought battle with cancer. He was born on February 17, 1948, in New Orleans, Louisiana, to John and Rosemary Mangipano. He and his wife, Mary Ann, were longtime residents of Saint Bernard Parish before relocating to Covington after Hurricane Katrina in 2005.
He was preceded in death by his parents as well as his loving wife of 44 years, Mary Ann Rantz Mangipano; a sister, Jennie Mangipano Saucier; a brother-in-law, Michael Saucier; and a step-grandchild, Drew deAlminana.
He is survived by his children, Ryan A. Mangipano (Melissa) and Rance J. Mangipano (Christie); his siblings, Lucille Mangipano Howat (Louis), Gaynel Mangipano Seibert (Charles “Skippy”), Darryl Mangipano (Janice), Gwen Mangipano Gros (Randy); his grandchildren, Jaron M., Joshua R. and Justin A. Mangipano, Aiden J., Gage A., Reid A. and Averie Ann Mangipano; step-grandchildren, Drake M. and Demi Clair deAlminana; and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services on Wednesday, February 21, 2024, at 11:00 AM at E. J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W 21st Avenue, Covington, Louisiana, with visitation beginning at 9:00 AM. Interment will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens. An evening wake is scheduled for Tuesday, February 20, 2024, from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM at E. J. Fielding Funeral Home.
