Dear Ronnie - You touched everyone with your sweet, gentle nature, your quit wit & your deep appreciation for all things - no matter how small. Thank you so much for enriching our lives with your love. You will live on in our hearts & memories forever. It's Sunday morning, and we will be heading to church soon. You won't be physically with us anymore, but definitely there in spirit. As I'm typing this, I am looking out of the window & I see the most beautiful blue sky. I can hear you say "It's an Oklahoma day!"...then of course, we have the song from Oklahoma in our minds as we ride to Mass together. Every time someone sneezes and I say "God bless you"...I'll hear you say "and America, too!". I know the brothers of St. Paul's Chapel will be sorry to hear of your passing. I remember when I was a child spending time at Ronnie and Cathy's(sister) house and Ronnie loved watching Perry Mason every night.He was always a special,kind,loving,hard working man who will be so missed.I have always kept in touch with him until he could not hear well on the phone anymore,but still kept in touch with cards and he was always in our prayers.I am sending this message with a heavy heart and wish we could be there with all of our family through this sad and difficult time.Our thoughts,prayers and love are with all of you! Ronnie was a true angel of God and fought a hard battle but now I know he is finally at peace and reunited with his family and our family in heaven.It is so hard for everyone left behind to say goodbye,but we must have faith and trust in our Savior Jesus that we will be together again one day and that will be for eternity!
