Roger "David" Wood's Obituary
Roger “David” Wood passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 2, 2025 surrounded by his loving family. He was 62. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Caitlynne Wood, and his parents, James and Louise Wood. He is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Shari Wood, his children, Robbie Wood (Caroline), Trent Wood and Jadyn Wood, his granddaughter, Delilah Wood and his brother, Larry Wood (Patricia).
David was born in Magee, MS and lived for many years in Chalmette, LA before moving to Covington, LA where he lived for the last 24 years. He was a paraprofessional at Lakeshore High School in Mandeville, LA and he was member of New Zion Baptist Church in Covington, LA.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service on Saturday, February 8, 2025 at 12:00 PM at E J Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 West 21st Avenue, Covington, LA with visitation beginning at 10:00 AM until service time. Burial will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens in Covington, LA.
