Rodney ‘Rod’ Charles Rotolo entered into eternal life surrounded by his family on Friday, June 29, 2018 at the age of 58 after a courageous battle with cancer. Son of the late Joseph and Patricia Rotolo. Beloved husband of Debora Read Obituary
I will always remember Rod as a true gentleman builder. He really took great care with everyone and everything that he dealt with, and I was lucky to have him leading the building team on a very rewarding project we did together, the Brees Family Football Field at Lusher High School. It was always such a pleasure working with Rod, and he always put me at ease that the project would work out fine, and it did indeed. Here is a photo of us together with Drew and Britney Brees and the administrators of the school.
I recall how happy he was to finally realize his retirement dream of his ranch, and he deserved that more than anyone. My thoughts are with the whole Rotolo family at this difficult time. God bless you all.

i have known Rod for many years. Our sons grew up together so there are so many fond memories reaching so far back, from elementary school to high school and beyond. His love for his family was evident in everything he did - it is what I will always remember about him the most, as well as that great big smile. . My heart goes out to his loved ones. No more suffering Rod, be at peace.
Rod had a wonderful personality and sense of humor. I enjoyed spending time with him on a couple pheasant hunting trips to South Dakota. He loved his family, was great at his job and amazingly could eat a lot and enjoyed good food. I have been blessed to know Rod and his brothers and sisters. I know you are with the lord and are now pain free.

Rod was my brother-in-law. He was an awesome guy!! He had a wicked sense of humor. He loved fine food and fine wine!! He had the best smile and hugs.
I will miss him.
Rod at 6’1” tall was still my “little” brother. He was the 5th of 6 children. He enjoyed creating wonderful meals for family and friends, designing and building projects, researching our family’s lineage, hosting large gatherings happy to see everyone enjoying our time together. He was respected by all with whom he worked teaching and mentoring. He was a loving, caring husband, father, grandfather, and brother. We will miss him.
