Lt. Col. Rockin Ronnie Senac, USAF Retired's Obituary
Lt. Col. Rockin Ronnie Senac, USAF Retired, age 90, of Covington, Louisiana, passed away on Wednesday, March 20, 2024. He was born on February 23, 1934, in New Orleans, Louisiana, to Charles and Elsie Senac.
He was preceded in death by his children, Denise Senac Trehant, Stephanie Senac, and Ronald Senac Jr.; his grandson, Justin Senac; his parents, Charles E. and Elsie E. Gergich Senac; and his brothers, Michael H. and Gary S. Senac.
He is survived by his children, Steve Senac (Jennifer) and Dennis Senac (Dawn); his grandchildren Melissia, Morgan, Grant, Jordan, Clinton, Caitlin; his great-grandchildren, Audrie, Kobe, Jack Thomas, and Harlow; and his longtime friend, Tommy Brennan. He is also survived by his sisters, Patricia Senac Fischer, Judy Senac Sherar, and Kathy Senac Beyl; and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Rockin Ronnie as he was named by his youngest son RJ because he was always the life of the party.
Rockin Ronnie attended St Aloysius High School then went on to play center and linebacker for Tulane University.
Retired Lt Colonel USAF Fighter Pilot with 383 combat missions, 3 Distinguished Flying Cross, 4 Air Medals, Air Force Commendation Medal, Arnold Air Society inductee, Order of the Elephant.
Former PGA Class A professional, PGA Tour Caddie, 8-time Medalist in LA Senior Golf Olympic Games. Real Estate Broker/Developer, Ford Dealer, Entrepreneur, corporate Pilot, and driver.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the graveside service on April 22, 2024, at 1:30 PM at the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery in Slidell, Louisiana, with Interment to follow.
