Robyn Ann Deroche's Obituary
Surrounded by her loving family, Robyn Ann Deroche entered eternal life on April 24, 2024, at the age of 66. She was born to Carl Arthur Deroche and Margaret Patricia “Patty” Deroche on October 4, 1957, in New Orleans, Louisiana. She was raised in Metairie, Louisiana, and graduated high school from Archbishop Chapelle in 1975.
Robyn will be remembered for her positive energy, friendly spirit, bright smile and infectious laugh. Her life revolved around her family, and she never missed an opportunity to cook a warm meal and gather her loved ones around her table. She passionately watched classic western movies with her beloved dog, Stella, and enjoyed traveling with her best friends.
Robyn was a devoted mother and stepmother. She is survived by her twin sons, Leonard Michael Morse (Natalie) and Ryan Jason Morse (Bailey); her five beloved grandchildren, Anna, John Ryan, Hudson, Grant, and Margaret; and her first husband and father of her children, Robert Ray Morse, Jr.
She is also survived by her loving siblings, Carl Arthur Deroche (Eileen), sister, Kelly Deroche (Wayne), close relatives, Caroline and Claire Deroche, and Brittney Werner Marsh (Tony), Janet Colley Morse, many cousins, a large, extended family and a legion of wonderful friends.
Robyn is preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Patty, and her grandparents.
Robyn’s legacy of selfless giving is continued through her final gift of organ donation. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Robyn may be made to the Louisiana Organ Procurement Agency (“LOPA”) Foundation which can made online at www.lopafoundation.org.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at St. Anselm Catholic Church, 306 St. Mary Street, Madisonville, LA 70447, on Monday, April 29, 2024, at 11:30 AM with visitation beginning at 10:00 AM until service time. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, 5190 Canal Blvd., New Orleans, LA 70124. The family invites all to join them in wearing bright colors to the service to honor Robyn’s beautiful spirit.
