Robin Baber Banks' Obituary
Robin Baber Banks passed away on Tuesday, August 27, 2024 in Covington, LA at the age of 59.
Robin was the beloved wife of the late Bradley Culver Banks, MD, FACC for 21 years. She was the loving mother of Sarah Ashley Banks, Emily Katherine Banks and Harrison Culver Banks; daughter of Patricia Stanley Baber, the late C. Britton Bankston, and the late Winston C. Baber; sister of Becky Baber and Bonnie Baber Depoi; and daughter-in-law of Carol Wisniewsky Banks and the late Paul C. Banks.
Born on September 8, 1964, Robin was a native of Metairie, LA and a resident of Covington, LA since 1996. She was a graduate of St. Martin’s Episcopal School and obtained her BS in Psychology from Tulane University, where she was a member of the Phi Mu Sorority. She was a recent graduate of North Shore Community College’s Medical Assistant program. Robin loved all things New Orleans, in particular, her beloved Saints. Her favorite way to spend a Sunday was inside the Dome with her children shouting “Who Dat!” as loud as she possibly could. Those who knew Robin understand how special of a person she was. She had a unique ability to draw people in and make them feel comforted, supported, and at home no matter the circumstances. Anyone fortunate enough to have experienced her love knows that it will live on in every memory we have of her. It’s the type of love that is impossible to forget.
Relatives and friends are invited to the Funeral Service at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Ave., Covington, LA 70433 on Tuesday, September 3, 2024 at 11:00 AM with visitation from 9:00 AM until service time. Interment will follow the service at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens, Covington, LA.
