Robert "Will" William Myers' Obituary
Robert William “Will” Myers, age 40, of Covington, LA died on Monday, May 24, 2021. He was born on October 24, 1980 in Covington, LA to loving parents, Robert Gregory and Lisa Menetre Myers.
Will was the beloved brother of Bryan Gregory Myers (Lauren). He was the proud uncle of Beau, Bennett, Baylor, and Brooks. Will was the grandson of Ralph N. Menetre and the late Winifred H. Menetre and Gae K. Myers and the late Robert F. Myers. Will was blessed with family. He was the nephew of Sandy Menetre (Vicki), Melinda Weissmann (Bob), Robyn M. Bossom (Joey), Terri Myers, and Melinda Breaux (Barry). He is also survived by many cousins.
Will graduated from Covington High school in 1998. He then earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from Southeastern Louisiana University in Hammond, LA. He was an avid sports fan, especially LSU. Will was a kind and caring person who will be missed dearly by family, friends, and all who knew him.
Relatives and friends are invited to the Memorial Service at Christ Episcopal Church Covington, 129 N. New Hampshire St., Covington, LA 70433, on Saturday, May 29, 2021 at 11:00 AM with visitation in Holzhalb Hall from 9:00 AM until service time. Interment will follow the service at Christ Church Memorial Garden, Covington, LA. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Will’s name to the Chapel Garden at Christ Episcopal Church, www.christchurchcovington.com, or the Northshore Food Bank, www.northshorefoodbank.org.
