Robert Roy Taylor Sr.'s Obituary
Robert Roy Taylor Sr., at the age of 66, passed away on Saturday, October 8, 2022. He was a longtime resident of Covington, and a proud resident of Bush.
He is survived by his children Melissa Taylor Wall (Milton) and Robert (Robbie) Taylor Jr. (Aimee), and his father Cleveland Taylor. Robert was the proud grandfather of Kaitlyn, Kallie, Kacie Wall and Robert, Reid, and Rowan Taylor. He is survived by one brother, Perry Taylor. He is also survived by many relatives and wonderful lifelong friends.
Robert was preceded in death by his loving wife Aggie Marie Taylor, his mother Hazel Taylor, and his brother Calvin Taylor.
Robert was a dedicated hard worker, and most of all always willing to help others when needed. He enjoyed working outside, and was well respected in his career as a truck driver. However, his true passion was spending time with his loving family, friends, and his favorite dog Sweetie. Robert was well respected and liked, and will be deeply and dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at E. J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W 21st Avenue, Covington Louisiana on Friday, October 14, 2022, at 11:00 AM with visitation beginning at 9:00 AM until service time. Interment will follow the services in Barker-McManus Cemetery.
