Pat Rupp was what made the Delta we all remember great. A gentleman, great pilot with a smile you never forgot. A TRUE gentleman--God Speed Pat, Blue Skies and Tailwinds. My condolences to the Rupp family.
I flew with Pat back in the late 70's and early 80's, and he was always such a pleasure to fly with---such a gentleman, so positive and kind. I remember one time when he treated the entire crew to dinner. May God bless and comfort you during this time of grief.
Pat and I flew together on the ole Connies out of EWR in the late fifties. One of the finest pilots and gentleman I have had the pleasure to know at Delta. My sincere sympathies to all the family. Gerry Derenthal
Linda,
I always smile when I think of the nickname you had for Pat. "VW" possessed a wisdom and manner achieved by few and admired by all.
May God Comfort You and Your Family
A fine and talented Captain, and a perfect gentleman. It was a real pleasure to have known and flown with Pat back in the "good ole days". Bob Brandon
I was privledged to have flown copilot for Pat back in the early 70's. Never was there a more perfect gentleman or kinder human being than Pat. My sympathies to His family. John Burkart
