I am very shocked and saddened to hear of Mr Magee's passing. He was a wonderful man, and I enjoyed talking with him in and around the hospital at work. It was so sweet to see his eyes light up and twinkle when talking about his lovely wife, Pat.

Robert was always the life of the party with his jokes. He always would play with Pat ,but she was his true love . These two were what love is about . We will miss our friend ,the dinners we had together , how he always smelled so good ,always ready for a kiss. I will miss my friend .

I first met Robbie when he and Pat were dating and he picked Pat and myself up in front of the Lowe's Theater on Canal Street after we saw about 2 movies that day and my first experience with Robbie was when Pat opened up a bottle of WHITE shoe polish that she had bought that day and it went all over Robbie while he was driving, well you can only imagine what words came out of his mouth, Pat and I laughed so much I believe we wet ourselves. Great memories of Bobbie Magee from Arabi. Sorry for not being able to be at your side tomorrow but I am sure glad I was there for your 50th Wedding Anniversary.

I first met Bob in the early 80s when we started working for Hotel Dieu at the same time. He was manager of the University Medical Office Building, I in PR and we shared the same office space for a short time. During the next 22 years, we often laughed about the journey we shared as the hospital underwent many changes. He was always incredibly kind and courteous to me, and I'll remember him fondly. I send my condolences to Pat and Bob's beloved family.
