Robert Morris Green's Obituary
Robert Morris Green passed away on Monday, June 21, 2010. He was born October 17, 1946 in New Orleans to the late Albert Edward and Essie Morris Green and was a resident of Mandeville.
The beloved husband of Mary “Betsy” Meyers Green, he is survived by his daughter, Rachel Elizabeth Green; his sister, Joan Ehrensing and one brother, Albert E. Green, Jr.
A graduate form Fortier High School with the Class of 1964, Robert attended UNO and Loyola Law Schools and received a Juris Doctorate from Tulane in 1971. He practiced law from 1971-2009 with a 10 years hiatus in San Francisco from 1975-1985. He moved to Mandeville in 2000 where he was engaged in the private practice of law and was currently serving as prosecutor for the Town of Abita Springs.
Friends are welcome to join the family for a time of visitation and remembrance from 10:00 AM until 12:00 Noon on Wednesday, June 23, 2010 at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Ave., Covington, LA 70433.
Interment in Brookhaven, MS at Rose Hill Cemetery will take place Wednesday at 2:30 PM.
