Bob was a long time friend. Was a really good guy.
Bob "elmered" me into amateur radio back in 1968. I was friends with his oldest son, Tom. At that time, we were neighbors living only a few houses from each other on Marilyn Drive here in Lafayette. I am deeply saddened by his passing and my heart goes out to Steve, Kim, and the rest of the Garner Family. Respectfully, Lee Nelson PO Box 51987 Lafayette, LA 70505
I knew Bob from seeing him at our church, the Northshore Unitarian Universalist Congregation in Lacombe, where he was a founding member. He was a very sweet and lovely man who will be missed.

Please accept my condolences. I know of Bob and his family primarily through Bob's brother Don. We are distantly related through the Garner line. I wish the family well and hope they find a sense of peace and connectedness.
Sincere sympathy. May he rest in peace. Cousin Dorothy
