Robert “Bobby” Dufore, age 79, departed this life on Saturday, August 25, 2012.
Bobby was born May 9, 1933 to the late Louis Joseph and Inez Perkins Dufore and was the eldest of 9 children.
Bobby was a resident of New Orleans in his youth, River Ridge in his adult years, and then resided in Mandeville for the past 22 years. Bobby retired from Kaiser Aluminum where he served for more than 25 years. He then became a craftsman in woodworking and cabinetry from his home where he built many treasured items for his family. Looking for new challenges in his later years, Bobby became a certified scuba diver and attained his private pilot’s license. He will be painfully missed and we thank him for all the wonderful memories and exciting stories to share.
