Robert Joel Allison, Sr., age 82, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 17, 2022 at his home in Covington, LA. He was born July 1, 1939 in Bogalusa, LA to Cedric Walter Allison and Lois May Allison. He is survived by his beloved Read Obituary

20+ years ago my wife and I moved from Houston, TX to pastor the Missionary Baptist Church in Covington. I found Joel Allison to be a very pleasant person to deal with, and remember him with fondness.
I remember Joel from years ago back when we worked together in Covington with Skippy, Justin, Sherwood, Tommy, Richard and many other good men. One of the nicest people I had the pleasure of knowing and working with. Rest in Peace my friend with Our Lord and Savior. Lifting you all in Prayer for God to give you Peace and Comfort through this difficult time.
