Rita McCarroll Mackenroth passed away on Monday, July 5, 2021 in Covington, LA. She was born on October 25, 1931 in New Orleans, LA to the late John G. McCarroll, Sr. and Nena Lemoine McCarroll.
Rita was the beloved wife of the late Joseph R. Mackenroth, Jr. She was the loving mother of Joseph R. Mackenroth, III (Celeste), David J. Mackenroth (Ludas), Gay M. Bishop (Neil, Sr.), and the late Dianne M. Kirby (Stephen). Rita was the grandmother of Angela D’Ingianni, Joseph R. Mackenroth, IV, Alisha Bierkamp, Brandon Mackenroth, Stacey Marler, Neil Bishop, Jr., Stephanie Davis, and Kate Kirby. She was proud of her 8 great-grandchildren. She was the sister of Jo Ann Jones, John G. McCarroll, Jr., Patricia M. Genna, and the late Margaret M. Wagner.
Relatives and friends are invited to the Funeral Mass at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, Covington, LA 70433 on Friday, July 9, 2021 at 11:00 AM with visitation from 9:00 AM until Mass time.
