Rita Furr's Obituary
Rita Souza Furr passed away on Friday, March 12, 2010.
Beloved wife of the late Frank Thomas Furr. Mother of the late Frank Thomas Furr, Jr. Sister of Raymond R. Souza, Kenneth Trottier and Margaret Mary Johnson. Sister-in-law of Louella Brown. She will be missed by her special family: Jill, Carley, Jacob and Paul Nelson. Also survived by nieces and nephews.
Age 86 years. A native of Hawaii and a resident of Abita Springs, LA for the past 14 years.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service from E.J. Fielding Funeral Home Inc., 2260 W. 21st. Ave., Covington, LA 70433 on Monday, March 15, 2010 at 11:00 AM. Visitation from 9:00 AM until service time.
Interment in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer donations to First Baptist Church of Covington, 16333 Hwy 1085, Covington, LA 70433.
