Rita Vedros Bieber's Obituary
Rita Vedros Bieber passed away on Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at her home in Madisonville, LA. She was born on July 30, 1924 in New Orleans, LA to the late Edward Vedros and Helena Lerille Vedros. She was a resident of Madisonville, LA for 52 years.
Rita was married to her beloved husband, the late Nicholas F. Bieber, for 54 years and together they had two daughters, Helena B. Mollo and Cynthia “Cindy” B. Caruso (Peter). She was the loving grandmother of Clarisse Mollo and Kevin Booth (Ann). Rita was the proud great-grandmother of Declan Johnson-Booth and Nicholas Booth. She was the sister of the late Agnes Buras, Laura Bowers, Marie Diaz, Mabel Chaisson, Octavia Felder, Harold Conner, Charles Vedros and Edward Vedros. The family would like to give special thanks to Christine Ansel for her friendship and loving care.
Relatives and friends are invited to the Funeral Mass at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, Covington, LA 70433 on Monday, November 9, 2015 at 11:00 AM with Visitation from 9:00 AM until service time. Interment will follow the service at McDonoghville Cemetery, 520 Hancock St., Gretna, LA 70053. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in the name of Rita V.
