Rise Matsuda Noto's Obituary
Rise Matsuda Noto on Wednesday, November 14, 2007.
She was born January 2, 1933 in Hachinoe, Aomori, Japan to the late Sannojo and Riyo Matsuda and was a resident of Mandeville. She was diligently cared for during her recent illness by her devoted companion Victor Danielsen, Jr. and although she had no children of her own, she lovingly reared Dino Noto as her son. She is also survived by three brothers: Zenji, Sukuji, Tadaski Matsadu and four sisters: Nobu Guillet, Taka Matsuda, Hisa Demachi and Yoko Kagaya.
Rise was a licensed Cosmetologist and the former Proprietor of Madame Butterfly Hairstyles. She was also a dedicated Buddist and a member of Soka Gakkai International.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend Memorial Services on Monday, November 19, 2007 at 7:00 PM from the Temple at SGI-USA, 1331 Prytania St. in New Orleans, LA.
An offering of flowers, Fruit offerings or Memorial donations may be made to SGI-USA. E.J. Fielding Funeral Home of Covington has been entrusted with arrangements.
