I miss you Rick. Your touch, your friendship, your voice, your laughter, and your opinions!
I am soo glad God sent you to me. We made a good team. You still live on in my heart, and in our children.
You are a man of character and strength.
I'm in love with you. Melissa
Rick was a good man who worked hard. He was devoted to his family and a credit to the newspaper industry. I will miss him.
I can't express how much my Dad, Rick Copeland means to me in words. We have a lot of great memories. He was someone I felt I could talk to when I didn't think anyone else would understand. He always took the time to listen. He was supportive, caring, loved his family. He was honest, and always wanted to set a good example for his kids. He loved to play the guitar and sing. I think that is one of the things I will miss the most when our family gets together.
My thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. God is with you.
I met Rick in 2003 and worked together for 3 yrs. We became very close friends....Was a wonderful boss as well as very best friend..Will greatly miss him. God Bless him and his family. John
Melissa, I am so sorry to hear about your dear husband. I'm sure he will be deeply missed by all. Please know that I am thinking and praying for you and your family at this difficult time. Sincerely, Deni
Melissa, I met Rick only once a few years ago just before I went to Cuba, but I remember him well. Among other subjects, we talked about journalism, since that was his profession and it was what I was going to do in Cuba. Anyhow, I greatly enjoyed his company and regret that was our only meeting. You and your children are in my thoughts and prayers.
Paul
Dear Carla and Family, I am so sorry to hear of Rick's passing. He was a blessing and a really wonderful friend and to me, like a brother.
I will always remember his handsome smile, his caring ways, his music, and most of all, the fact that he loved the Lord.
May God be with each one of you, may He comfort you and may you know as Rick knew, if you have trusted Jesus to be your Lord and Savior, you all will be together again for eternity.
Much Love, Prayers and Hugs,
Becky Mange and family
