i did not know my grandfather very well, like him i left home at a young age, and did not keep in touch very good. i do know this that he loved life and lived it to the fullest his way. got to admire that! but out of all the things he did, places he seen, the best to come out of it all was my mother, the most loving, caring, giving person i know. so think you richard for leaving me the best part of you, my mom francis foster. so i will say to you not good-by, but may the wind fill your sails old sailor and sail you home once again. love mary
