Richard Daniel O'Connell, Sr.'s Obituary
Richard D. O’Connell passed away on Thursday, November 13, 2008. He was born January 20, 1938 to the late Joseph and Josephine Guttadauro O’Connell of Brooklyn, NY, and has been a resident of St. Tammany Parish since 2004.
The beloved husband of Alma Dawn O’Connell for 49 years, he is survived by three sons: Richard O’Connell, Jr. and wife Denise, Don O’Connell and wife Tami, Charles O’Connell and wife Tammy; two daughters, Dawn Chandler, Kim Martinez and her husband William; his mother-in-law, Irene Eglin; two brothers, Joseph and Michael O’Connell and 12 grandchildren: Tiffanie Chandler, Heather Moore, Britini, Macy and Marina O’Connell, Charles, Jr. and Quintin O’Connell, Alexis and Dylan O’Connell and Christina, Ashley and William Martinez. He was preceded in death by his sister, "Pat" and father-in-law Charles Eglin.
He was loved by all who knew him.
Memorial Services will be held Tuesday, November 18, 2008 at 4-6pm at the chapel of Fred Hunter’s Funeral Home, 6301 Taft St., Hollywood, FL 33024.
Immediately following services, family and friends are invited to commence at Rick Jr. & Denise O'Connell's home at 2121 N.50th Ave. Hollywood, Florida 33021.
