I’m sitting here so sad hearing about my friend Richie. But knowing he is with Betty makes me happy. Richie, Ronnie, Betty, and I were such good friend and we loved being together more like family. They loved you children so much and adored their grands and great grands, They were truly blessed have such a wonderful loving family. My mind is just flooded with all the wonderful memories we shared together like Saints games, cards, eating, drinking, shrimping, camping taking so many great trips. But the one trip that stays in my mind most is going to see Richie and Betty when he had his transplant in San Francisco. They were so glad to see someone from home that we were laughing and crying together, We rented a car and went all over San Francisco and the area of California and had so much fun together. I know you children are missing your mom and dad but just think of the wonderful parents they were and the memories y’all shared and know that you will all be together with them some day. I loved my dear friends and look forward to being with them for eternity. I would have been there but with this COVID I haven’t gone anywhere for the past year. The only place Pam let me goes was to Emily’s small wedding. When you feel like you can talk please call me as I don’t have you number.

“One mans Junk is another mans treasure” I owe my entrepreneurship to my dad and Mr.Richard. This is crazy but my fondest memory with Mr. Richard was going to the local dump on Saturday in search of treasures. I would restore the old floor buffing machine, make it shine and sell for $12.00. The sale of the buffer did not compare to the value I put on my relationship with Mr.Richard. Mr Richard always had a project going on that caught my attention. I am proud to say I am a man with a lot of project thanks to Mr. Richard’s influence. I will treasure all the beautiful memories I have of Mr.Richard, may he Rest In Peace
