Dr. Richard was one of the first neighbors we met when we moved to 7th St in Abita Springs 10 years ago. He would come by and visit when we would be on our porch. He always shared amazing stories with us. He was such a kind person. It was so sad to see him beginning to suffer when he got sick. He was a wonderful neighbor.

Over these last years watching Doctor slip away, we've been experiencing the loss of a great man, a great intellect, a great artist, a perfectionist in life and dentistry, one who could hold a conversation with anyone from any walk of life and sincerely listen... Doctor, we've been missing you a long time but now we take comfort that you're with Kathryn, Frank and Beth, the ones each night you asked God to take care of until you could join them.
