Richard "Rick" Henry Fielding, Sr.'s Obituary
Richard “Rick” Henry Fielding, Sr. passed away on Monday, September 6, 2010 at St. Luke’s Episcopal Hospital in Houston, TX.
Rick is survived by his devoted and loving wife Trena Abshire Fielding of Humble, TX, his parents Elizabeth “Betty” Fielding and Philip E. Fielding, Sr., his children Richard H. Fielding, Jr., Brandon E. Fielding, Raven A. Fielding and Chelsea A. Fielding, his step-children Katie Quayle, Wade Nelson and Cole Nelson, his 2 grandchildren Chloe and Ethan Fielding. He will be sorrowfully missed by his brother Philip E. Fielding, Jr., his sisters Linda Fielding Savage (wife of Michael W. Savage, Sr.), Leslie Fielding Gagnet (wife of Philip Gagnet), Stephanie E. Fielding, Geralyn A. Fielding and Edith “Beckey” Fielding Myers (wife of Kevan Myers), and step-sisters Linda Watts, Karen Fahrmeier, Vicki Fobel and Tammy Waltz. . He is also survived by nieces and nephews Capt. R. Bosch, USAF, Lauren E. Savage, Michael W. Savage, Jr., Colette Gagnet Sutley, Bobby Gagnet, Nicki Fielding Thibodeaux, Krista Fielding Combs, Madeline Myers and Everett Myers.
Rick was a 20 year employee of Petrocomm, LLC d/b/a Broadpoint of Houston, TX. He graduated from John F. Kennedy High School and received a Certificate in Electronics from the DeVry Institute. He also attended St. Paul’s School in Covington, LA.
Age 55 years. A native of New Orleans, LA, a former resident of New Iberia, LA and a resident of Humble, TX.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service from E.J. Fielding Funeral Home Inc., 2260 W. 21st. Ave., Covington, LA 70433 on Friday, September 10, 2010 at 2:00 PM. Visitation from 10:00 AM until service time. Interment in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens.
