Richard Edward Frye's Obituary
Richard Edward Frye passed away on December 10, 2021. He was born on April 23, 1950 in Philadelphia, PA to the late Rev. John Marshall Frye, Jr. and Anne Marie Wilson Frye.
Richard was the beloved husband of Shellion Thomas Frye. He was the brother of the late Alan Marshall Frye.
Richard was an avid reader. He could consume whole books and, after one reading, could converse deeply on the subject. And a good conversation was one of Richard’s passions. He was well versed in many subjects and loved to talk at length about any of them but he loved reading and talking about politics and history most. Richard’s cookbook collection almost rivaled his extensive literary library. He was a master chef. He enjoyed cooking cuisine from around the world and was especially fond of Thai food. Richard was a bright and unique soul and will be deeply missed by Shellion and those whom new and loved him.
