Richard "Dick" Albert Feddeck's Obituary
Richard “Dick” Albert Feddeck, at the age of 87, entered eternal rest peacefully on Monday afternoon, August 1, 2022 at Lakeview Regional Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Duluth, Minnesota on October 6, 1934, to Albert William Feddeck and Margaret Lillian Turner Feddeck.
He is survived by his beloved wife Faye Gerald Feddeck of forty seven years, his brother in law Jim (Dee) Gerald, sisters in law Sherri (Richard) Hayden and Virginia Breland, nieces and nephews Cindy Payne, Bart Feddeck, Bert Feddeck (Dena), Darryl Pace (Staci), Sondra Ervin, Sandi Clark (Paul), Steve Gerald, Erin Smith (Field) and Meghan Rodgers (Kevin) and many adoring great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews. He is also survived by a host of wonderful lifelong friends.
Dick was preceded in death by his father, Albert William Feddeck, his mother, Margaret Turner Feddeck Bonnette, step father, Dave Bonnette and his brother, Ronald Feddeck.
A native of Duluth, Minnesota, he grew up in New Orleans and was a longtime resident of St. Tammany Parish. Dick graduated from Fortier High School. After high school, he proudly joined and served in the United States Air Force for four years. After being honorably discharged Dick began his professional career as a sales rep for W. R. Grace, Inc. and later worked twenty five years for Koppers Co. after which he spent many years as a roofing consultant with architects and building owners.
Dick was a charter member of The Original Krewe of Orpheus and one of their first float Lieutenants and then Captain from 1991 until 2000. In 2000 he was King Orpheus XIII and remained an active member until 2018.
Dick was loving, compassionate, and most of all a very caring person to all. He enjoyed spending time sailing, traveling and golfing. However, his true passion was spending time with his loving family. He was unique and irreplaceable, well respected and liked, and will be deeply and dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. His jovial spirit and tender nature will remain in the many memories of his cherished friends and family until they meet him again.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at Faith Presbyterian Church, 16330 LA 1085, Covington, Louisiana 70433 on Saturday, August 6, 2022 at 11:00 AM with visitation beginning at 9:00 AM until service time. A private interment will follow the service in Theodore Dendinger Cemetery,Madisonville, Louisiana.
