Rhonda McCain Simmons' Obituary
Rhonda McCain Simmons age 56 of Mandeville, LA, entered eternal rest on Thursday morning, December 23, 2021 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Water Valley, Mississippi on November 28, 1965 to Shelby Simpson McCain and Brenda Beckwith McCain.
She is survived by her beloved daughter, Brittany Simmons and her husband Jarred Williams; and her loving mother Brenda Beckwith Tredente and stepfather Anthony Tredente. She was the proud grandmother of Marri Williams and Cherisse Simmons. Rhonda was the sister of Michelle McCain Perkins and sister-in law to Tim VanNorman. She is also survived by two nieces, Shelbie Perkins and Megan Foreman, two nephews, Andrew Perkins and Adam Perkins and a host of great nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Rhonda is preceded in death by her father Shelby Simpson McCain; and sons Randall Simmons and Jordan Simmons.
Rhonda was a longtime resident of Metairie, LA for over 25 years. After high school, Rhonda attended Phillips Jr. College for merchandising and design and worked in the retail industry for many years with her last job being with Dillard’s in Baton Rouge.
Rhonda was loving, kind and humble person. She enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially at the beach. Her real passion was reading and listening to music. However, between reading novels and scripture she enjoyed spending time with her loving family. Rhonda was unique, well respected and liked, who will be deeply and dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, Covington, LA 70433 on Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at 2:00 PM with visitation from 12:00pm until service time.
