Eddie, we only met once at my sister's wedding over 25 years ago. Please accept condolences from me on behalf of my family. I am saddened beyond belief. Lisa was my 1st cousin. My Daddy and Aunt Geraldine were brother and sister. Thanks to FB 2 years ago, I was able to locate Randy and my sister Dina, my mother and myself met he and his wife in Bogalusa. We were looking forward to getting together with Lisa, but unfortunately, life happens and we never did. Just last week, Dina and I had decided that we weren't waiting anymore.....we planned to call Lisa. My heart is broken that we were too late. We had no idea that she was ill. Last Saturday made a year that we lost a cousin, on my Mom's side from the same type of brain tumor/cancer. We were with Mike through it all. That's part of the "life happens" along with me nearly losing the love of my life twice last year. I pray that she knows that we loved her no matter how many years have passed. I know that she is in God's loving arms along with Aunt Geraldine and Uncle Jim. Lisa was a Daddy's girl like me.
I have many fond memories of my childhood with Lisa. They mainly involved the fact that she always let me play in her "make-up "area." It was a little girl's fantasy with every bit of Merle Norman make-up that was ever made!! Again, I treasure those days and again, pray that she knows how much she was loved.
