Rhea Darcey Simoneaux passed away on Tuesday, January 11, 2011.
Beloved wife of the late Vincent Anthony Simoneaux. Loving mother of Gary Michael Simoneaux (wife Pamela), Mary Ann Simoneaux, Carol S. Peter (husband Keith) and the late Wayne Anthony Simoneaux (wife Barbara) and Gail Martha Simoneaux. Grandmother of Jared Michael Simoneaux, Jason Paul Simoneaux, Sarah Gail Peter, Catherine Collette Simoneaux and Aaron Louis Peter. Great-grandmother of Triston Michael Simoneaux. Daughter of the late Elma and Curtis Darcey. Sister of Lewana Underwood, Omie Haney, Virgie Shubert and Charles Darcey. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Age 82 years. A native of Bourg, LA and a resident of Abita Springs, LA for the past 30 years.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral mass at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home Inc., 2260 W. 21st. Ave., Covington, LA 70433 on Friday, January 14, 2011 at 11:00 AM. Visitation from 9:00 AM until service time. Interment in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, masses are preferred.
