So sad to say goodbye to Reta. We played Friday nite couples bridge with Reta and Ed for many years. Such a sweet couple! It's was sad to say goodbye to Ed and now to Reta.
Reta was a kind, precious lady...and cared for her friends as family by never forgetting their birthdays. She will be missed, indeed.
Auntie Reta was compassionate, selfless and caring to everyone she met. She and Uncle Eddie showed by example what a loving relationship should be, and we were blessed to have both of them in our family. We fondly remember meeting them at Birch Bay, Washington during their last trip there, and spent a wonderful few days exploring Fort Casey and Fort Ebey with them. Even after so many years together they still held each others hands. I envision Eddie happily greeting Reta in heaven and showing her around. We miss you.
