Pauline Ahrens is my mother, and worked with Helen back during times of American conflict. (WWII)
Helen, Betty and my mom became life-long friends. I retain fine memories of Helen, as she was an independent, trusted woman with high integrity, morals and accomplishments.
I (we) will miss her, but we'll always remember her enthusiasm and friendship, that made those around her feel loved.
