During a "buddy boat" trip to the Bahamas, we encountered some storm clouds approaching from behind us. My radio came on with a call from Rene: "Duudley, look behind us" (Me.) "OK,
I see, what about 'em?" (Rene) "Duudley, what we gonna do? Should we anchor?"(Me.) "No Rene, we're gonna keep going. We're out in the ocean, we can't anchor." One of many learning experiences for Rene; our intrepid sailor.
I can't think of Rene without remembering getting my chest dustbusted of cracker crumbs in the cockpit of Stars & Bars. Such a good time had and because of he and Dottye, we moved to and lived in Mandeville for 25 years.
