Raymond J. Landry's Obituary
Raymond Joseph Landry of Covington, LA passed away on Sunday, January 22, 2017. He was 78 years old. Beloved husband of Bobbie Wilkie Landry for 41 years. Son of the late Norbert Landry and Azema Begnaud Landry of Lafayette. LA and brother of the late Ruby Landry Langlinais of Ft. Worth, TX. Survived by two nieces: Toni Langlinais of By The Sea, CA and Claudia (Sue) Langlinais Holdrodge of Ft. Worth, TX. He was also survived by two nephews: Knobbie Langlinais of Lafayette, LA and Brian Langlinais of Houston, TX.
Ray served in the US Marines Corp, retired as district manager for Glaxo SmithKline Pharmaceuticals and was a member of Mary, Queen of Peace Catholic Church of Mandeville, LA where he served as an usher. Special thanks to Passages Hospice and Lacombe Nursing Center who did so much to make him comfortable in his final days.
All funeral services were private and entrusted to E. J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 West 21st Avenue Covington, LA 70433.
Interment in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens, Covington, LA.
