Raymond Lee Claret, age 89 of Mandeville, LA died on Monday, September 03, 2018, at his home surrounded by family.
Born, Thursday, October 18, 1928 in New Orleans, LA to the late Emmet W. Claret and Nellie Bozeman Claret.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Rosalie Arcuri Claret. Father of Jerry (Paula), Ronnie, Gary (Anne), Cathy, Steven, Brian (Carol). Grandfather of Lauren, Andrea, Nathan, Meagan and Melanie Claret. Great Grandfather of Julien Claret D’Arensbourg. Brother of Emmet Claret, Marilyn Claret Gagliano, and the late Leonard Claret.
Raymond retired from Louisiana Gas Service Co. (Atmos). He served in the United States Navy on the USS Princeton and is a veteran of the Korean War.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass at 12:00 PM on Friday, September 07, 2018 at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, 312 Lafitte Street Mandeville, LA 70448. Rev. Msgr. Kenneth Hedrick and Rev. Fr. Mark Lomax Officiating.
Visitation on Friday from 10:00 AM to service time.
Interment in St. Joseph Abbey Cemetery, St. Benedict, LA.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to either to Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church or to St. Joseph Abbey.
