I went to get my hair cut by Ray today. Only to find out about his passing. I'm heartbroken. I used to tell him to just cut it like Elvis. The first time I told him that he said I don't do that you need to go to one of those fancy places down the street. He was always kind with a good sense of humor and he gave me my Elvis cut every time.

My son, Walker age 7, cried when I told him of Mr. Ray's passing. He was a very friendly and kind man. He will be greatly missed.

Ray will be greatly missed. I enjoyed our visits and talks in the big chair. He was always interested in my trips over seas and I love to talk about my veteran experiences when I served with the Marines and Navy. Ray cut cut that flat top in 5 minutes flat. He was a fine fellow who made an impact on me. Best to his family. May God comfort your hearts.
To Rays family: What a great person. I loved to get a haircut and let him pick at me about what was going on at the school board. Another CHS football supporter. He was always ready to support CHS.

I am sadding at Mr. Ray's passing. I saw him at Wal-mart, Covington Sunday and he looking fine. What a shock.. I work for Frito-Lay and I see Mr. Ray every Sunday in Wal-Mart. Many Sunday's he had Elijah with him. Usually pushing him in the basket. We always talked. I will never know the family or anyone else he was associated with but I did know him. He was a very kind man and will be missed a lot. Bubba
