Randall Ray Laviolette's Obituary
Randall Ray Laviolette passed away peacefully and went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 22, 2023. He was born on January 17, 1948, in Abbeville to Joseph Jesse Laviolette and Mary Lou LeBlanc. Randy was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Joseph Jesse Laviolette, Jr.
Randy was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was married to his wife Pam Laviolette for 33 years. His children are Lisa Broussard (Eric), Rebecca Laviolette, Miriah Boothe (Chad), Barry Laviolette (Misty), Victor Hardison (Shavon), Megan Bernard (Cliff), Randi Adkins (Chris), and Rachel Keller (Walter). Randy was also blessed with 22 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A native of Delcambre, Louisiana, and resident of St. Tammany Parish for over 40 years, Randy was known for his vibrant personality and ability to engage in conversations with anyone. In his later years, woodworking became his passion, and he found great joy in creating beautiful things with his hands.
He is deeply loved and will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him. The family will hold a ceremony to honor Randy's life and memory.
We take comfort in knowing that Randy is now with the Lord and that we will one day be reunited with him in heaven.
The family of Randall Ray Laviolette warmly invites relatives, friends, and community members to attend his Memorial Service on Saturday, March 4, 2023. The service will be held at 3:00 pm at E J Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 West 21st Avenue, Covington, LA. Before the service, a visitation will be held from 1:00 pm until service time, allowing loved ones to pay their respects and offer condolences to the family.
Following the service, a private interment will be held at a later date.
