Randall Scott Jenkins' Obituary
Randall Scott Jenkins, age 56, entered eternal rest peacefully on Monday morning, February 5, 2024, at his home surrounded by his adoring loving wife and family. He was born in Covington, LA on August 21, 1967, to Robert Wylie Jenkins and Ernestine Cox Jenkins.
Scott is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Annie Oalmann Jenkins, his adoring children, Holly Jenkins, Whitney Boudreaux (Gilbert Boudreaux III) and Ryan Oalmann; and his grandchildren, Cooper, Wyatt, Levi, and Brooks. He is also survived by his mother, Ernestine; his mother-in-law, Cissy Glass; his siblings, Robert Wylie Jenkins Jr. (Melissa Jenkins) and Ricky V. Jenkins; and his mentor and close friend, Harold Dutsch. Scott will be dearly missed by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and wonderful lifelong friends, whom he dearly loved.
Scott was preceded in death by his father, Robert Wylie Jenkins.
A native and proud resident of Covington, LA, Scott began his career for St. Tammany Parish Public Works for over 20 devoted years. He also was an outstanding Heavy Equipment Operator for Dutsch Services in Covington for 23 dedicated years. Scott was a member of New Zion Baptist Church.
Scott was loving, compassionate, and most of all a very caring person to all. He enjoyed spending time outdoors camping and fishing. However, his true passion was spending time with his loving family and friends. Scott was unique and irreplaceable, well respected and liked, and will be deeply and dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. His spirit and tender nature will remain in the many memories of his cherished friends and family until they meet him again.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at New Zion Baptist Church, 17387 New Zion Church Road, Covington Louisiana on Friday, February 9, 2024 at 11:00 AM with visitation beginning at 9:00 AM until service time. Interment will follow the service in Barker McManus Cemetery, 76468 Highway 437, Covington, LA.
