Ramona Albarado Faherty's Obituary
Ramona Albarado Faherty passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 1, 2025 surrounded by her loving family at her home in Covington, Louisiana at the age of 69. She was preceded in death by her parents, Nolan John and Verdie Roberts Albarado and her sister, Barbara Marshall. She is survived by her loving husband, David D. Faherty; her daughters, Katie Stucker and her husband Shaun, and Kassie Macios and her husband Kevin; and her five grandchildren, Bradley, Madelynn, Benjamin, Oliver and Lucille. She is also survived by her siblings, Michael Albarado (Arlene), Gwen Reich (Lewis), Jackie Rhoads (Dusty), Roxanne Stewart (Blaine Prudhomme), and brother-in-law, Jerry Marshall and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Ramona was born in Rayne, Louisiana and spent most of her life in Lafayette before relocating to Covington a few years ago. She enjoyed playing tennis which helped her forge long lasting friendships. Gardening was another of her joys, along with hosting gatherings for family and friends. Ramona loved to travel, exploring various countries with her husband, and she proudly attended all four tennis grand slams. Her greatest joy came from cooking and baking with her daughters and grandchildren. Her favorite moments were those gathered around the table, cooking and baking for those she loved. The secret ingredient in her dishes was always love, and she will be deeply missed.
