Ralph Pass has always been to me an example of a man who tried to combine the best of justice and love as he understood it in everything he did. I met him shortly after he moved to Metairie, when he became a founding member of the St. Matthew's United Methodist Church. Though we would only see each other at intermittent times, I always felt we could pick-up right where we left-off from our previous conversation. I will miss Ralph and those conversations.
