Ralph Thomas McDaniel, Sr.'s Obituary
Ralph Thomas McDaniel, Sr. passed away on Thursday, March 13, 2014 at his home in Covington. A native of Franklinton, LA, he was born Monday, April 30, 1928 as one of twelve children to Elder Tom McDaniel and Allie Creel McDaniel. The beloved husband of Erma Fairburn McDaniel for 67 years, he is survived by his daughter - Charlotte McDaniel Bushnell (Kenneth); one son - R.T. McDaniel (Shan); seven grandchildren: Kristi and Blake Bushnell, McCade Hayes, McCall, Steele, Sutton, and McCayn McDaniel and four great grandchildren: Zachary and Kort Bushnell, Sheppard and Sullivan McDaniel. He was preceded in death by his parents and eleven siblings. Relatives and friends are invited to attend funeral services at 2:00 PM on Sunday, March 16, 2014 at Covington Missionary Baptist Church, 86 Gardenia Dr. Covington, LA 70433. A wake is scheduled for Saturday, March 15, 2014 from 6-8:00 PM at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st. Ave. Covington, LA 70433. Visitation at the Church Sunday will begin at 1:00 PM. Interment at the Allison Cemetery in Folsom, LA will immediately follow services.
