Philip Elray Delaney, 83 of Ponchatoula, LA, passed away on Friday, October 23, 2020. He was born on February 16, 1937 in Plaucheville, LA to Allen Delaney and Florence (Billodeau) Delaney. Philip is survived by his daughters Fay Read Obituary
Mr Delaney always had such a warm heart. He and Mrs Delaney were always so hospitable and loved having their family and friends together with them. I’ll always remember our fun weekends out on the pond!

Condolences to Faye, Diane and family. My wife, daughter and myself were blessed to have had Mr. Delaney brought into our lives. God works in mysterious ways. He was the kindest, gentlest man with a heart the size of Louisiana. He always had a smile on his face and a warm hand shake to offer all that met him.
I'll always remember sitting next to him and fishing one of his ponds or just sitting in the patio talking.
He'll be greatly missed.

I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Delaney in his home and at Passover Services with my husband Thomas Molden. He was so loving and kind and joy to talk to.
Revelation 14:13 "And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them."
Mr. Delaney was a loving man. He and his wife went through so much and yet my family and I had known him to express his love to all and to give where he could. His life had much trial and struggle but his mind was full of hope. We can't wait to see him in God's Kingdom.
Dan_12:3 And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.
Mr Delaney was a wonderful, kind, true gentleman. I had the honor of knowing him, being a guest at his home on many occasions like Cajun weekends, attending services and being his friend. He will be greatly missed. Also Mrs Delaney was a wonderful complement and helped make Mr Delaney a better person, husband and father. She too was a kind, generous wonderful lady, wife and mother who is greatly missed as well.

A kind, loving, compassionate, God fearing man that worked hard all his life to care for us. He will be missed by many. I love you mucha, mucha dad!!
Only met this great man and his late wife once years ago when they hosted a Cajun weekend at their beautiful home and yard for many of us. Wish we'd had more time :-(!
