Most of my childhood was spent with Celeste Ricca and her family. Although Peter was older I remember his drive and energy. So sorry for the loss.

peter i will miss you dearly you were well loved and a very special and dear friend to me and my family
Karen and I share your sympathies and will miss Peter. He made doing business with the ricca family fun and a real pleasure. Peter was a bright light in life, because of his great attitude toward living and people. I will miss him, but he will always be a pleasant memory in my life.
Peter will be sadly missed. I will always remember the days spent in his shop at Tyler Square in my younger years. He was a very special person to be around and had such a funny outlook on life. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Ricca Family.
Why is it that its always the good ones that go first?.I was walking to the bus stop on the way to Fortier High one day and decided to knock on the window where I saw Peter lived. This led to the best friendship I have ever experienced.Peter was a Real Person. This I am sure is a result of his family, who are some of the most loving people you will ever meet.I was lucky to know Him,and even luckier to have met with him the day before he passed...His last words to Me...I love You...Well...I love You Too Pete...God bless, and I will someday join You In Heaven....Love and peace to you Brother....Julian
Our deepest sympathy for the Ricca family. There aren't words big enough to describe Peter, and the impact he had on both of us. Please know that he will live on because of the wisdom he shared with many, and because of the generous way he shared himself with others.
Goodbye my friend..I know you'll love your new home and I know I'll see you again
Dear Cousin Althea and the Family Please accept our deepest sympathy over the passing of your son Peter. My prayers are with you and family to help make this difficult time a bit easier to bear. what a wise and gentle human being he will surely be missed
We came to know Peter by being frequent customers. His gravely voice, dry sense of humour and easy going manner always made visiting the shop a fun adventure. We'll miss his presence greatly.
