I have the best memories of Piers going camping with us in Honey Island Swamp. It was always around his birthday. He loved it! Swimming, fishing, getting muddy, and listening to Pawpaw’s stories at night in the tent. As an adult if we talked about these times it brought the biggest smile to his face. He had a kind and big heart. Loved all animals. I know he is at peace. I hope for the family that you will soon be past the difficult grief and his memories will warm your heart.
Piers was one of my son, Javan's, best friends, so we go back many years.........Years ago we owned a timeshare in Pen., FLA & Piers came with us to share a week, at the beach. We all had a wonderful time except one night while lighting a cigarette a spark of match flew in Piers's eye.................Lord, we were frantic. We all jumped in our van a rushed to emergency. Sure enough he had burned his eye & needed treating, including an eye patch...........!!! He was a great sport but was teased for the remainder of our trip.
We all Loved Piers Dearly. He was one of my Boys, who called me MA, which I Loved.
RIP, Sweet One, knowing you will NEVER be forgotten...........!!

I remember Piers and I always tagging along, trying to keep up with the “big kids” fishing for crawfish with baloney on a string off the back porch, playing in that crazy giant gingerbread house, staying up too late to sneakily watch George Carlin comedy specials... he was like a brother and is gone too soon. I’m so sorry.
